Unlike existing audio-only smart glasses on the market, these glasses deliver genuine visual augmentation: weather, navigation, ride-hailing info, real-time translation, and other widgets appear in the user's view; users can even design custom info cards via AI. The glasses sense wear/removal state and pair with both iOS and Android phones.

Gemini's multimodal capability is the core support for this experience. Translation, navigation, and info parsing all require the model to process vision + language input in real time on-device. According to on-site reports, what's shown is still a prototype; the final product's form factor, size, and battery life remain unknown.
